Maribeth is a strength-based and resilience-focused counselor who helps children, adolescents, and young adults find success and happiness in their lives. With vast experience as a mental health therapist across many issues and with many modalities, Maribeth has a comprehensive set of skills to work with clients towards healing and personal development. She can be a guide on your journey to recovery from trauma or self harm, an educator as you build new coping skills and a partner as you navigate life's challenges and transitions.
She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Radically Open Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT) among other modalities with her clients to build resilience and develop life skills. Maribeth also has experience providing counseling across many communities including immigrants/immigrant families and with Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC).
Maribeth is licensed in the state of Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), attended Marquette University where she studied Psychology, completed her postgraduate advanced degree at Loyola Chicago and is fluent in Tagalog.
