I was born and raised in the Philippines and immigrated to Canada in my adolescent years. I know the struggles and challenges being raised in a strict and religious Filipino household. It was not until many years later in life that I realised how much emotional neglect and physical abuse I suffered. That was when I got on the path to healing myself to becoming more free, genuine and authentic. It served a purpose in my life as I now know it is my true calling to help my kapwa Filipinos heal from intergenerational trauma.
I have over a decade of experience providing psychotherapy to those who suffer from emotional pain and maladaptive ways of coping. I am also very passionate about working with couples using Emotion Focused Therapy. I provide online/ virtual therapy and accept clients living in Ontario, Canada.
