About

PaulineJo is a Filipino-American, Licensed Master Social Worker. She earned her Master's in Social Work from Walden University and her Bachelor's in Social Work from the Catholic University of America. PaulineJo spent her college and graduate school years working in various for-profit and non-profit settings such as public benefits, hospitals, schools, homelessness and domestic violence, human trafficking, and sexual assault. It was during her graduate school experience that she found her passion for trauma-informed work.

PaulineJo's philosophy is that every person is a product of their unique qualities, their upbringing, and their environments and that they deserve to have their voice heard. PaulineJo's work pulls from various theories such as attachment theory, strengths-based theory, systems theory, psychodynamic theory, and more, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
