In 2021, I finally heeded the universe’s call to healing work. I started this journey by becoming Reiki attuned and a rREST Coach. rREST - rapid reprogramming of emotional stress technique, works to dismantle stress triggers and break negative patterns of thought and action. Imagine no longer being beholden to automatic negative thoughts and finally being able to be your authentic Self.
I am Filipino-American, living on Duwamish land - current day Kirkland, WA. I grew up in Mexico and the Philippines. My maternal side hails from Banawe, Ifugao. It was my father’s side that emigrated to the US from Germany several generations ago and settled on Erie land (present day, Ohio). I grew up belonging to both cultures and neither, at the same time. My whole life, I have been acutely aware of being mixed race and how it affected social interactions. To this I attribute my passion for self-growth and discovery and healing.
Both my parents are from rural, agricultural towns. It is to this, I owe my love of land and nature and value how they nourish body and soul. I am an avid traveler, adventurer and aspiring writer. I am also a 200-hour Certified Yoga Instructor, having led classes and workshops in Washington, DC and Tamale, Ghana.
