If there's one thing children of immigrants have learned, it's that being resilient is at the core of their strengths. It's something we pride within our generation. But with resilience, also comes emptiness and feelings of constant guilt and shame. For many people, it's not the survival of chaos that they struggle in, it's having to survive in stillness. This is where I provide this space of healing. For the longest time, we have been conditioned to do things alone. Part of the reason why I believe in this work is that we heal as a collective. By focusing on the mind, body and soul, I am here to guide you to break generational patterns that may have been stuck.
Kapwa is the core value of my work. It is this mantra that you can tell to an individual, “I see you. I hear you. I am WITH you.” Kapwa also teaches us to see within our identity. By listening to our body and paying attention to the root of our triggers, we can tell ourselves, “I see you. I hear you. I am WITH you. When we are at a place of awareness, it also allows us to welcome others with compassion. In turn, kapwa also teaches us about the importance of collective healing. My hope is for you to slowly find your community and build a sense of emotional well-being.
